My name is Tony Diaz. Professionally, I am an agent of evil working in the television industry, but by night (late late night) I am a self trained illustrator. In the last few years, I’ve hit the gas on the illustrating and found myself surprised with the results. So then I figured, hey, make a blog and pass on some of them lessons. Now, I never went to art school and I’ve had no real formal training (although I did take a class in watercolor at my local CC last year), so buyer beware.
But fuck the ad hominem, amirite?
This website is about two things. First, selling my AWESOME EXPRESSION REFERENCE BOOKS. You can check out 8 of the over 100 expressions (so far) in the flash app on the 360s page.
Secondly, this website’s for passing on a bunch of lessons, reviews, recommendations, blah bleh blah about art. For the most part, I’ll focus on the visual arts, but I may do some mad digressing. Also, like the flash app for the 360s, I’ll be making little interactive movies to illustrate assorted concepts.
Why do this? I enjoy helping people out. Makes me feel awesome. I encourage you to sign in and comment, and I will do my best to help you out. And I will delete comments I find douchey. If there’s one thing I can’t stand, it’s a lack of civility.
